Affiliate Marketing vs Bum Marketing

Published by rhondaklewis at 12:00 am under Uncategorized Edit This

As I have been writing these post I pondered a question that I have been asking myself for awhile. That is what is the difference between article marketing an bum marketing. Well I wasn’t sure so I asked the warrior forums. I got a lot of opinions but the average answer was this. They are both essentially the same except for one difference and that is the “keyword” that you use in your articles.

For instance, if you are writing and article on dogs, then dogs, dog houses, dog food, dog training would be keywords that you would use in article marketing. In bum marketing however, you would use keywords such as : How to train your dog to sit in 3 days, or dog training for blind dogs. These keywords or phrases or called longtailed keywords.

Make sure you use your keywords in your title and make sure your title grabs the eye of the reader. Most marketers think that the most important part of the article is the bio box. Here are some tips to have an exceptional bio.

Some marketers put info about themselves in their bio box(also called resource) but the best thing to do is to create information that will have the reader clicking through to your website or blog or affiliate link.

Write something that would peak his curiosity. For example if you are writing an article about dog training put this in your bio. “Did you know that some dogs can be trained in five minutes” To find out how just click here:xxxxx.com. They would be crazy not to click on that piece of info.

Also when your are writing your bio don’t end with a url and then a period. The period will be included in the url and render it non clickable. Here is a wrong example: go to xxxx.com. If you have to put it at the end of your article in the bio leave a space between the url and the period, xxxx.com . Some article submitters don’t use html so be sure to write out your domain name so the reader can copy it and paste it in their browser.

Also make your paragraphs short. At least 4 line a piece like I did in this post.

Till next time,

Rhonda
