Back Links are a must.
May 25, 2008 | 1 Comment
I know Iwas supposed to blogging about my Cost Per Action experiment but I ran into a little snag. When you sign up you have to give a telephone number and They Will Call! My cell is on the fritz. So I will be blogging about Back Links today.
Getting links to your site is fundamental to getting visitors, and without visitors all the time, effort and money invested in getting your site up and running, and looking nice is irrelevant. So links are essential to the health of your site, and indeed your business, but all links are not equal in value to your site. Reciprocal links will help, but they are far less effective than one way back-links, i.e. links from another site where you don’t have to link back tothem. These “One Way” back-links will give your site a far greater boost inthe search engine results and bring you more traffic, providing of course that you have chosen good (relevant) keywords for your links. There are many ways of getting these powerful one way backlinks, but mostly you will have no control over the anchor text used (i.e. keywords) in the link, which means their “power” is unfocused and therefore of less use to you in achieving the targeted keyword results you are looking for. For example, submitting your site to website directories can be a very effective way of picking up some high quality one way links from high PRsites, but you will seldom be able to choose the keywords/anchor text used for the link, often ending up with the site name as the link.
This is not a waste of time, as the Pagerank passed to your site will, with the correct internal linking structure, be passed on to your sites internal pages, helping them to rank better for their targeted keywords. Here are some ways to get links:It’s fairly common for webmasters to now buy or “rent” links to their sites through service like Text-Link-Ads.com, and these services will allow you to choose the anchor text, but they are far from cheap. A link from a PR 8site can easily cost $150+ per month. In fact there is now a business model emerging based on building sites simply to sell these kind of links. Google has also publicly stated that they disapprove of this practice and are actively seeking to downgrade the value of such paid links. This first solution is a monthly subscription that provides a network of highquality blog sites for you to post comments on, including a link to yoursite(s) using your chosen anchor text. Note: As you make the link yourself, you can also link to internal pages onyour site to improve their rankings as well, which you can’t do withdirectory submissions. It is a manual process, but is easy enough that it can be outsourced fairly cheaply. The Pagerank of these blogs varies, but the links provided are very“natural” in appearance to the search engines, and as you can post uniquerelevant content on market related blogs, the links are highly relevant. You are also limited as to how many blogs you can post to each month, to ensure that the links grow naturally over time, rather than all in one go.You can get these at the backlinksolution.com.
Three Way Back Links (3waybacklinks.com)
The internet marketing market is highly competitive, so it’s hardly surprising that another service with a different twist has popped up from this market. This is an automated “three way links” system, where you link to site A,which then links to site B, which then links back to you. Whilst this is arguably not as powerful as true “one way backlinks”, it’s still a significant step above one way “reciprocal” linking that is the more traditional method used by the majority of webmasters. The process is also automated for you, making it very hands off. You can submit up to 20 sites with just one account and you can specify three different anchor texts to be used as the links for each site’s, making don’t incur any penalties for over use of just one text link keyword or phrase. It is also set up to gradually build up the links over time to make it all appear very natural to the search engines.Betterthanlinks.com is also very good in that its service gives you your own blog on an existing high PR authority site. The site has 833,039 backlinks listed in Yahoo and gets spidered several times a day by all of the major search engines. For example in June 2007Googlebot visited it 14,470 times and Yahoo Slurp 52,436 times, so you can see why it’s an regarded as an “authority” site.Till next time

CPA,PPC Can make you a ton of money
May 23, 2008 | Leave a Comment
OK, I have been visiting the warrior forum and I have been hearing a lot about CPA (cost per action) and PPC (pay per click). I decided that I would delve into this and see if I could make some money with these programs.
Now the first thing I had to learn was the definition of ppc and cpa.
Azoogle, maxbounty, primaryads these are “cost per action” affiliate programs. Everytime somebody submits their zip code, name/email, buys a product, or requests more information you get paid a certain amount in commission.
CPA Networks are an extremely lucrative endeavor for Publishers and Advertisers.
Here’s the difference:
Publisher:
A person who gets paid for driving targeted traffic to someone else’s advertisement, offer, contest, etc. That’s where the term CPA comes in, Cost Per Action. You get paid every time someone you refer to their offer performs the required action/actions, whether it be an opinion, an email address, a zip code, a phone number, an actual sale etc.
Advertisers are willing to pay you because of the targeted traffic you’d be sending to them. For you to get the highest payout you need to send prospects who are interested enough in the offer to give up their personal info. Don’t go to a knitting forum promoting jock straps that use patented ball hoisting technology (got that from an MTV skit
) that wouldn’t be targeted traffic
Advertisers:
Someone who pays a CPA Network, such as azoogleads.com (there are tons of other ones), to have their offer placed in the marketplce with other advertisers. Publishers who have discovered a hungry market then searche azoogle’s market for a fitting ad or offer, set up the campaign, drive traffic to it and get paid when people take the required actions. It’s a good strategy for people who are willing to pay for highly targeted leads.
With ppc, you get paid when the person that clicked on your ad buys a product. It is a little like Google Adsense but in stead of getting paid by someone just clicking the ad they must also buy something. Here are some sites that have CPA. This is the program that I am going to try. I will post my results here.

Affiliate Marketing vs Bum Marketing
May 16, 2008 | Leave a Comment
As I have been writing these post I pondered a question that I have been asking myself for awhile. That is what is the difference between article marketing an bum marketing. Well I wasn’t sure so I asked the warrior forums. I got a lot of opinions but the average answer was this. They are both essentially the same except for one difference and that is the “keyword” that you use in your articles.
For instance, if you are writing and article on dogs, then dogs, dog houses, dog food, dog training would be keywords that you would use in article marketing. In bum marketing however, you would use keywords such as : How to train your dog to sit in 3 days, or dog training for blind dogs. These keywords or phrases or called longtailed keywords.
Make sure you use your keywords in your title and make sure your title grabs the eye of the reader. Most marketers think that the most important part of the article is the bio box. Here are some tips to have an exceptional bio.
Some marketers put info about themselves in their bio box(also called resource) but the best thing to do is to create information that will have the reader clicking through to your website or blog or affiliate link.
Write something that would peak his curiosity. For example if you are writing an article about dog training put this in your bio. “Did you know that some dogs can be trained in five minutes” To find out how just click here:xxxxx.com. They would be crazy not to click on that piece of info.
Also when your are writing your bio don’t end with a url and then a period. The period will be included in the url and render it non clickable. Here is a wrong example: go to xxxx.com. If you have to put it at the end of your article in the bio leave a space between the url and the period, xxxx.com . Some article submitters don’t use html so be sure to write out your domain name so the reader can copy it and paste it in their browser.
Also make your paragraphs short. At least 4 line a piece like I did in this post.
Till next time,
Rhonda

Affiliate Marketing Success Story
May 14, 2008 | Leave a Comment
I told you in previous a post that if you want to make the most of internet marketing you should join the Warrior Forum or Wahm.com. Here is an informative post by Jeremy Kelsall.
How I Make 2K A Month Plus What I Could Do Better
I have been involved with IM since December 16th of 2007. Since January I have made no less than 2 thousand a month and as much as 4 thousand.
Currently, I am marketing to 3 different niches and follow the same plan for each one. I challenge anyone who is not making money to follow any type of organized plan of attack and not make money. It is impossible.
Here is what I do step by step. I will follow this by what I feel that I could have done in the beginning and would probably be making twice the money monthly. I just could not see the big picture.
1. Niche Research - This takes me all of 5 minutes. I go to clickbank and see what everyone else is selling meaning a product with a high gravity and a good sales page.
2. Keyword Research - Again, initially this takes me all of 5 minutes. Because my main traffic generation is article marketing i go to google and see what keywords are ranking high within article directories. Those are the ones I focus on while trying to target long tails.
3. I set up a Squidoo lens as my landing page. I also set up a hub, a blogger at blogger, and a free wordpress blog. I set and forget my squidoo lens but update my blogger blog, hub, and WP blog every other day or so. I link everything back to my Lens.
4. Write a minimum of 3 articles everyday for each niche.
5. Submit my Lens to 10 free directories a day to build my link popularity.
That is the exact process I follow and consistently get sales each and every day. By no means am I making a killing but, I am able to pay my house note and all of my utilities every single month which, is more than I thought I was going to be able to do. With the limited success I have had though, I do see IM as a way to replace my entire income and hopefully, be able to work at it full time.
I could be making so much more though but, admittedly I am a bit of a dumb ass and frequently do not look at the big picture. Here is what I wished I would have done from the beginning.
1. Got my own hosting and domains. The reason for this is pretty simple. In addition to it being “mine” I could easily have had an asset that I could have sold at some point for a nice profit if I decided my time would be better spent in another niche. As it stands now I have nothing to show for all of the link building and SEO I have done.
2. List building - Each of my three niches get at least 3000 visitors a month. By now, I could have had one hell of a list to market to. How sweet would it be to be able to be able to send an item once a week to these people? I lost a lot of money here.
3. Outsourcing - Again, this is a dumb ass moment for me. I wish I would have taken half of my profit and paid to have articles written and submitted for me. In the short haul it would have cut into my play money but, by now I have a feeling it would have paid me major dividends.
ANYONE can make money doing this. As a matter of a fact, a guy I work with asked me what the hell I am always doing on my laptop and I told him. He said he wanted to give it a shot so I gave him the same outline above and showed him where everything was. He has made 4 sales already in a matter of 6 days and is excited as all hell.
Hopefully, someone can read into this post to see how simple it can be to make money. Hell, for some of the people trying to get into this 2 thousand dollars a month would probably give them the ability to all together quit their regular job and spend more time with their families. In some cases, it might even be enough to improve their quality of life, and that is what it is really all about.
So again, I say, I challenge anyone to follow any type of plan of action to the letter and not make money. It simply cannot be done.

Making Money Online Quickly
May 11, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Today I am going to tell you about a program that is similar to GPTs.Some people make a lot of money with this program but they usually work overtime to do so. I just do it to get money for certain projects. For example I might need to purchase web hosting or a domain name. Those two things can come in pretty handy when you are trying to make money online. There are many ways to make money online. I know at least 101 ways to do so. You can go to the Warrior Forum and do a search and find a list of money making ideas. They are not just ideas though they have already been tried and proven by countless of internet marketers. Most of those ways take time to see any physical results but they do work in long term. I have been searching for ways to make money in a short period of time, say at least a week. I found a program that does just that. It is called Project Payday. I did have to pay to get this program, but at least it paid for itself when I put the program in use. I did find out however, that I could have had this information for free if someone would have bothered to put it out there. It is similar to PTC and GPT sites only you make much more money and in a shorter amount of time. It is called Freebies sites.
Freebie sites are where advertisers like Blockbuster or Stamps.com to name a few, pay web owners to place their ads on their freebie websites. They are paid a lot of money to do this. In return the web owner must get consumers to sign up for these offers or ads. Most of the offers are trials. To entice the consumer to sign up for these offers the freebie site will offer to pay you (the consumer) a certain amount of money to complete at least 1 credit worth of offers which is usually 3 offers. After you have completed 1 credit worth of offers you must then get 3 people to do the same. When that happens you are entitled to whatever prize money that is offered by the freebie site. For three referrals it is usually 120 dollars. For 5 referrals it is 240 dollars. Only the United States, United Kingdom and Canada are eligible to do most freebie sites. There are a few freebie site that except international consumers. These freebie sites also have non cash awards like Nintendo Wii, Playstation and other non electronic items.
You do not have to worry about getting your referrals because there is a site where they do nothing but trade for referrals. It called Freelunchroom.com or FLR. There are people (traders) that will pay you to complete offers for them. For a 1 credit site you will spend at least 3 dollars on trial offers, and the trader will pay you at the very minimum 20 dollars. Some traders will pay more you just have to search for the trader offering the most money. You want to pick a trader that has a trade record of 5 or higher. That means he has done this at least five times and knows what he is doing. When you have done this five times or more you can start paying people (referrers) to complete sites for you. You make more money that way. Here are a few things for you to know that are very important before you start trading.
1. Read the entire tutorial at Freelunchroom they will explain everything in detail. If you still have a question just asked the forum they will bend over backwards to answer any questions you might have.
2. When you sign up for an offer please read the terms of service (tos) they might have hidden cost that you will not want to pay.
3. When you complete an offer they will send you a confirmation email. Keep all emails from completed offers and canceled offers. Remember that if you don’t want the product to cancel at least during the end of the trial and not the beginning.
4. Make sure you write down the \name of the offer, the date the trial ends and the phone number to call to cancel. The cancellation number should be in the TOS. It is advisable to go for the cash the first few times in stead of the non cash prizes but that is up to you. If you get the chance look me up and send me a PM (private message) and maybe we can set up a trade together. My trade name is rhondaklewis.
Here is a site that I am doing now called 40.MacroBucks.com. Just take a look at it and familiarize yourself with the menu. Take a look at the prizes and offers. You should really register with FLR and read the tutorials before you sign up with any site.
Till the next time,Rhonda

Article Marketing Continued
May 7, 2008 | Leave a Comment
To ensure the probability that your articles will be accepted, here are some important points to remember before you go into submissions.
1. Check and proofread your own article.
Some authors do not proofread their articles because they find it takes a lot of time. But if you want your articles to be accepted quickly and easily, it is your duty to make help out the publisher. How do you do this?
The first thing you should do is to check and review you grammar and spelling more than once. You might have missed something when you checked the first time around but you will come upon it the second or third time.
It is also best if you have and know someone that will review it for you. Ask that person to look for anything that does not seem right. This would be from grammar to sentence formation. They are more likely to see mistakes that you have missed.
When writing articles, you get very familiar with the content that you will not anymore aware of mistakes committed.
It is very easy for writers to miss out obvious mistakes. Adding some familiarity into them does not help either. You will just commit more because of this. By having someone read article, this problem will be eliminated.
2. Your articles should have value.
If you want free traffic for your site, articles are the best ways to do it. But keep in mind that they are not supposed to be an advertisement. That is why you are using them in the first place. Making your articles appear like one will make publishers delete them so fast you would not know what hit them.
Put yourself in the publishers’ shoes. Their primary concern is to look for some new, fresh and useful content to supply to their readers. For them, good articles are personal commentaries about the latest trend in the industry or reviews about a certain product.
Trying to include a link to your site is obviously advertising. The instant they see that, they dispose of them quickly without bothering to read that you have written a good content. All you efforts thrashed.
Try to go back to the time when you were just new in the article marketing business. You were hungry to get the freshest and the most valuable information. Your articles were all precious to you.
Every writer has the right to a resource box space at the end of each article. This will serve as your advertisement. And this is as far as you can go. Readers who have found your article interesting would surely want to go visit your site to get more information about you and what you are offering.
As small as they seem to be, resource boxes serve much greater purpose if you compare it with others that are promoting visibly and with obvious advertising mediums posted.
When writing your resource box, try to be as brief as you can. They do not have to be near as long as your article. Try to also limit the number of links you put into them. The standard resource box consist of only 4 to 5 lines.
3. Articles should be straight and up to the point.
An article is written with one key point in mind and that is to be informational. Do not beat around the bush, be as clear as you possibly can. Keep in mind that your readers are of varying intellectual capacity. Not all can understand idioms or figures of speech.
It is said that an article that is appears to be boring to you may be clear and understandable to your readers. You should have a writing style that is not too difficult to follow. Nothing turns a reader off more than reading an article that seem to go on circles.
Creating a quality article can be easy. Just try to consider your content, your readers and the publishers and you are on your way to a fast and steady start to profits.
See ya soon,
Rhonda
P.S. Here is a video on afiliate marketing that I think will help you understand it better.

Article Marketing

Do you know what article marketing can do for your business?
One of the most incredible strategies ever to be incorporated with online advertising is article marketing. It has proven to be the most cost-efficient and most effective of them.
By the term itself, you probably would know what this kind of marketing is about. By writing articles that are content-rich, you will be able to reach more people online. Not only that, you will be able to project a credible image to those who may have chanced upon your articles.
With the internet now reaching world-wide market, there is a higher possibility of you getting the attention and interest of potential customers. This is what article marketing can do. If you have not been using this in your business, you are missing more than you know.
How does article marketing work?
Here is a guided tour on the step-by-step process of article marketing that will guide you on your way to achieving the kind of articles needed for your kind of business.
To start with, you need to premium a quality, informative and 300 minimum word article about a certain topic related to your business.
For example, if your business is about family living, you can write an article that delves on how to spend more quality time with families. Never write about something that is not even closely related to your niche.
After you have the content written, you can now include a resource box at the end of the article. The resource box is basically a brief summary about you, your business and with a link that goes right to your website.
Putting a link to your site in the resource box would is making it possible for many people who would get to read your article. This could essentially result to a large amount of new traffic to your site.
Then it is time to submit your articles to as many article directories you can find. Over the Internet, you can find various article directory sites. There are paid and free sites.
If you are on a budget, you may opt for the free submissions being offered. But if you have money set aside for your article marketing, paying for the submission sites is also a wise move.
Whenever somebody reads your article displayed on directories, the link that leads to your site is prominent enough for the readers to be able to check them out once they find your article interesting. This way, there is a big probability of you gaining more customers whenever find what they are looking for in your site.
There is also a chance that your article would get picked up by a printed publication, and the readership of the same would get to know the products or services which your business offers.
You should know that article directories are being displayed on various websites. They are seen by millions of people all over the world. This apparent visibility also makes it easier for search engines to index them.
The technique behind article marketing is back linking. Back links are links to your websites that you have somehow displayed on sites with higher page ranks. To put it simply, your site is basically sharing instant success with the sites you are linking to.
Getting indeed by search engines can be a long and trying process. Oftentimes, the result takes days or months before being acknowledged. There are even cases where, after waiting for a long time, the result you will be getting is not the one you expected. This is the main reason why Internet marketers have resorted to back linking. You cannot get this instant online recognition in the shortest of time and without too much effort anywhere else.
You can always hire a ghostwriter to write your articles for you if you cannot write your own articles or do not have the time for them. The price rate for writing articles is from 3 to 10 dollars.
With all the advantages being presented by article writing, there is no doubt why this has become one of the most often used Internet marketing strategy.
Try to do some article marketing for your site and see the positive results it will bring to your site.
Article marketing isn’t just for getting traffic to your website. There are people out there who have websites and hate to write, so they get someone else to do it. If you are good at writing and are willing to write for someone else this might be just the thing for you. I just did 25 article for $150 dollars. I bought more domain names for my affiliate marketing campaigns. Again, go to the warrior forum, wahm.com, craiglist and avertise your writing abilities. Also look in to getting paid to blog.
Talk to you soon,
Rhonda

Getting traffic to your affiliate site
May 5, 2008 | Leave a Comment
In the last post I showed you how to submit articles for your affiliate site. If you submit 5 or more articles everyday you should rank high in the search engines and people will click on your link. If you can’t write your own articles (that is the best way) then you can outsource them. You can put in an add on craigslist, or wahm.com. Make sure you don’t insult anybody by offering $4 dollars or less per article. Instead ask them what they charge and pick the best offer that is right for you. You will get the money back in the long run. Here is how I got 100 people to visit my affiliate website. Simply put, I joined ListJoe. ListJoe is an email marketing program where if you read a certain amount of their members emails in turn you can send an email also. The emails you read are worth anywhere from 5 to 20 points. I saved up the maximum amount with a free account (2500). Out of 2500 emails I got 100 visitors and 5 sales. That might not seem like a lot but at 22 dollars a sale I was not dissatisfied. Even with that I get more sales by putting my link in my signature in forums that I belong to. Join a forum that has something to do with your product and put your affiliate link in your signature if it is allowed. Just a word of advice. All IMers should belong to the warrior forum. You can ask any questions and learn a lot about internet marketing and which programs are the best or free. Next post will be on article marketing.

rhonda
